Job summary

Spoonfuls Inc. seeks a Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations in Newton Center, MA.

The role leads the corporate and foundation fundraising program, supervising a Senior Grants Manager and coordinating with the Head of Development to set annual strategies and expand partnerships with funders. The position requires extensive fund development experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to social justice and community impact.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of experience with corporate funders or foundations.
• Proven track record of cultivating and securing new revenue from diverse funders.
• Excellent oral and written communication and storytelling abilities.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with multiple concurrent priorities.
• Ability to work with autonomy and navigate ambiguity and change.
• Deep knowledge of the Commonwealth’s geographic and social landscape.
• Commitment to social justice and supporting diverse communities.
• Familiarity with food rescue and food justice is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic member of Spoonfuls’ Management Team.
• Design and execute corporate and foundation giving strategy aligned with mission and priorities.
• Partner with CEO and Head of Development as a primary spokesperson for Spoonfuls externally.
• Lead solicitation of corporate partners for multi-year commitments and sponsorships.
• Oversee relationships with Board and fundraising committees and growth of donors.
• Oversee writing and editing of proposals, reports, and letters of intent.
• Supervise the Senior Grants Manager and drive annual goals for performance and growth.
• Identify and cultivate new funding opportunities and creative approaches to funding.
