Job summary

Tulane University in New Orleans, LA seeks a Director of Development for Corporate and Foundation Relations to lead funding strategies with priority corporate and foundation prospects for the Schools of Medicine, Public Health and Tropical Medicine, and Science and Engineering.

The role partners with deans, faculty and colleagues in Advancement to articulate the investment value and coordinate engagement, travel as needed, and provide leadership for frontline fundraisers.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple demands.
• Experience with technology companies, health services, clients, and venture funding.
• Ability to travel and attend events on evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate, and solicit corporate and foundation prospects.
• Develop and implement corporate/foundation strategies aligned with school objectives.
• Engage with deans and faculty teams to identify key partners.
• Collaborate with Advancement colleagues on donor relations, communications, and campaigns.
• Provide thought leadership for frontline fundraisers within the office.
