Compensation: $175,000 - $210,000 + bonus, LTIP

Location: Arizona preferred, Remote considered for exceptional candidates (strong relocation package offered)

We're working with a growing IPP aimed at expanding its US renewables platform and seeking a Director of Corporate Development to lead commercial strategy, contract negotiation, and project execution across utility-scale solar and wind projects.

This is a high-impact role for a commercially-driven leader who operates at the intersection of corporate development, M&A, and power markets.

Role Overview

The Director will spearhead strategic growth efforts across the U.S. renewables portfolio—leading negotiations for key commercial agreements (PPAs, EPCs, service contracts), supporting site acquisition and project feasibility, shaping long-term corporate development strategy, and coordinating cross-functional teams to advance both development-stage and operating assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead commercial execution for utility-scale renewables: site acquisitions, development partnerships, and project-level contracts
• Drive deal structuring and negotiations (offtake, EPC, O&M)
• Support asset-level development strategy, risk management, and financial optimization
• Act as a key liaison between development, construction, finance, and legal teams
• Provide commercial leadership on potential M&A or greenfield opportunities

Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of experience in renewables, infrastructure, or power markets
• Background in project development, M&A, or corporate development (IPP or PE-backed platform preferred)
• Strong understanding of commercial contracts, power markets, and asset development
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from origination through execution
