Job summary

Skylo Technologies in Mountain View, CA seeks a Director of Corporate Communication & Strategy to shape our narrative across internal and external stakeholders. You will lead marketing, PR and design to build a cohesive, consumer-friendly brand and drive strategic communications for enterprise partners and end-consumers.

You will secure speaking engagements, manage internal and external messaging, and guide crisis communications while building a high-performing team and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in corporate communications or PR, with 2–4 years in management at a tech company.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, English, Design, Branding or related liberal arts field.
• Proven success in integrated comms for both B2B and B2C audiences.
• Experience with AI-accelerated workflows and narrative development.
• Strong written and verbal communication, media relations, and crisis management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Marketing and Design to ensure cohesive brand touchpoints.
• Drive category creation and thought leadership, including speaking engagements.
• Lead strategic communications to build awareness and differentiate Skylo.
• Act as internal brand agency supporting partner marketing and sales enablement.
• Develop executive visibility plans and manage media interviews.
• Create crisis communications plans and monitor risks.
• Guide social media and community engagement with clear brand voice.
• Build in-house team and manage external PR agencies over time.
• Develop AI-assisted content operations and weekly media monitoring.
