Job summary

Young Brothers, Inc. is seeking a Director/Controller to lead accounting, treasury, accounts payable/receivable, and regulatory reporting. This role reports to the CFO and supports modernization across financial processes and systems.

The ideal candidate will bring deep GAAP knowledge, cash management expertise, and experience in regulated environments. Strong leadership and collaboration with executive teams are essential to drive scalable, compliant finance operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of ten years progressive accounting, treasury, controllership, or financial leadership experience.
• CPA, MBA, or advanced certifications are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Accounting, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Treasury, Procurement Support and Regulatory Reporting.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, annual close; ensure GAAP compliance and regulatory filing accuracy.
• Manage treasury, liquidity, bank relations, debt monitoring, and lender reporting.
• Coordinate external audits and regulatory filings with PUC and other agencies.
• Develop internal controls and governance documentation; guide modernization efforts.
• Lead cross-functional teams and mentor staff; support strategic transformation.
