Job summary

Ethos Life is seeking an exceptional product leader to join our Consumer Product team as Director of Product Management. You will own the strategy and execution of our core consumer product surface, leading PMs and partnering with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, and Actuarial.

You will set the vision, build the team, and drive measurable business outcomes with ownership and a product-first approach in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience as a product manager at a high-growth technology company.
• 5+ years of experience managing and developing product managers, with a track record of growing PM teams.
• Experience in fintech, insurtech, or other regulated consumer industries is a plus.
• Strong analytical orientation with a focus on data-driven decision making; ability to measure success across a portfolio of bets.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the multi-year product vision and roadmap for the Consumer Product team, aligned to company strategy and growth objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managers, setting goals and conducting regular performance reviews.
• Partner with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, and Actuarial to build and ship high-impact features.
• Own the end-to-end consumer experience from onboarding to purchase and onboarding, improving conversion and satisfaction.
