Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. is seeking a Director of Construction to oversee half of the annual new store openings, directing a team of Project Managers and coordinating with Operations to deliver on time with high quality.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic sourcing of GCs, and the implementation of scalable, efficient construction processes. The position combines high responsibility with travel to new stores; a background in retail/hospitality construction and a relevant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management.
• 10+ years of construction project management experience in retail/hospitality environment with increasing management responsibility.
• Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
• Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee half the annual new store openings; ensure construction meets company and AHJ standards.
• Lead and develop Construction PMs/Senior PMs; hire and elevate associate performance.
• Develop scalable construction processes; implement policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with Operations and RD functions to ensure timely project completion.
• Monitor GC strategy and use of project management software; track status and costs.
