Job summary

TYG is seeking a Director to join its Disputes and Advisory group in Chicago. This leadership role will shape a high-performing team and drive expansion of the firm’s regional presence in construction disputes and advisory services.

You will lead advisory work on delay and cost issues, oversee preparation and presentation of claims, and build long-term client relationships while contributing to new business opportunities. A track record in consultancy or expert witness environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience leading expert appointments or supporting expert work.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Background in delay/cost issues within construction disputes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team delivering advisory and expert services in construction disputes focusing on delay and cost issues.
• Oversee strategy and presentation of claims for clients on major infrastructure and commercial projects.
• Provide input and guidance on complex project disputes.
• Serve as a main client contact, building long-term relationships and supporting business development.
• Help expand the firm’s footprint in the region and contribute to winning new work.
