Job summary

Stout in Chicago is seeking a Director for Disputes, Claims, and Investigations to lead complex litigation and dispute engagements with emphasis on securities matters, class actions, and antitrust. You will advise clients and counsel, oversee engagement teams, and drive growth through strong relationships.

The role requires 10+ years in economic or dispute consulting, CPA/CFA or similar designations preferred, and proven leadership with advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in dispute consulting, economic consulting, forensic accounting, economic damages, litigation support, or a related advisory field.
• Meaningful experience with securities litigation, class actions, and antitrust matters.
• Experience working with law firms, corporate clients, and expert witnesses on complex litigation matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex litigation and dispute engagements with emphasis on securities litigation, class actions, and antitrust matters.
• Direct financial, economic, and quantitative analyses relevant to securities and disputes.
• Manage engagements from planning through reporting and presentation of findings.
• Develop and review financial models, damages calculations, and data analyses.
