Job summary

Secretariat is seeking a senior construction delay consultant to support complex disputes for major projects worldwide. You will review technical and non-technical documentation, analyze large datasets, and quantify delays and damages for expert reports.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in construction project management or cost controls, with experience leading disputes. Strong English drafting, mentoring, and client-facing skills are essential, and some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in building construction, engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years in construction project management, scheduling, or cost controls.
• 3+ years leading on cases at a dispute consulting firm.

Responsibilities

• Research and fact-finding for legal disputes on large construction projects.
• Detailed data analysis of datasets to identify delays and cost overruns.
• Quantification of delays and damages and drafting expert reports for court use.
• Economic modeling to determine lost profits due to delays.
• Manage engagements, including client interaction and staff supervision.
