Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Director, Manufacturing & Connected Factory Apps to lead sustainment and evolution of manufacturing applications for connected factory operations. The role partners with operations and cross-functional stakeholders to drive digital strategy and scalable processes in a complex global environment.

The position is remote for US-based candidates, with no visa sponsorship available, offering a competitive compensation package in the Aerospace & Defense space.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years leading project teams in digital or process transformations.
• 5+ years in technology sustainment or CoE roles.
• Experience with MES, SCADA, Ignition, and event brokers.
• Proven track record managing multi-year initiatives across global regions.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the connected factory sustainment organization for manufacturing applications and event brokers.
• Support enterprise-wide harmonization and technology consolidation for connected factory capabilities.
• Lead digital strategy development and manage operational sustainment processes.
• Align technical roadmaps with enterprise objectives by partnering with operations leaders and stakeholders.
• Expand use of manufacturing applications and real-time event brokers to improve factory efficiency.
• Guide communities of practice and educate stakeholders on best practices for connected factory technologies.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies while maximizing scalability and minimizing complexity.
