Job summary

Menlo Ventures is seeking a Director of Compute Infrastructure Procurement Operations to build and lead procurement functions for compute infrastructure assets. This pivotal role will own supplier strategy, cost optimization, and operationalize critical initiatives across the company.

The ideal candidate has over 12 years of experience in procurement, particularly in compute infrastructure, and a proven track record in managing capital-intensive portfolios. The position offers a hybrid work model with flexible hours.

Compensation ranges from $300,000 to $385,000 USD annually, complemented by competitive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of procurement experience, with a minimum of 5 years in compute infrastructure.
• 8+ years of people management experience.
• Experience with AI tools to automate procurement workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own supplier strategy and cost optimization for compute hardware.
• Operationalize new entity for tax-optimized procurement.
• Lead finance procurement operations for data center sites.

Skills

Deep domain knowledge of compute infrastructure components

Experience managing capital-intensive procurement portfolios

Strong understanding of procure-to-pay processes

Experience operating in SOX-compliant environments

Proven track record of process improvement

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, Business, or Engineering
