Responsibilities include market analysis, client visits, and leading a team of deposit portfolio managers while staying current on industry trends. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience in banking or treasury management.
• Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university.
• Deposit background including negotiating, analyzing and coordinating complex bookings.
• Business or financial industry related educational background.
• Knowledge of state and federal banking regulations.
• Experience in financial statement and tax return analysis.
• Extensive knowledge of relationship management.
• Leadership experience preferred; travel up to 50% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of deposit portfolio managers.
• Compiles and analyzes market data to advise on deposit products.
• Engage in business development and solicit new business.
• Call and visit target customers to build a new book of business.
• Maintain customer databases and report results to leadership.
• Pre-qualify deposit opportunities and assess risk.
• Gather information to present opportunities to senior management.
• Meet with new clients and negotiate terms.
• Stay informed on financial industry trends and advise leadership.
