Job summary

First Business Bank is seeking a Director to lead our Company Retirement Plans within Private Wealth, based in Madison, WI with flexibility to Milwaukee. This leader will guide strategy, ensure a high-quality client experience, and manage a team of retirement planning professionals.

You will work closely with Commercial Banking and Private Wealth, strengthening relationships and expanding services for commercial clients and prospects across Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Broad experience in retirement plan services, client service, plan design, and business development.
• Demonstrated leadership including managing and developing teams.
• Strong understanding of ERISA and fiduciary best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior relationship management for retirement plan clients.
• Provide consultative guidance to plan sponsors and committees.
• Ensure a high-touch fiduciary experience.
• Partner with Commercial Banking and Private Wealth teams.
• Support bankers in delivering retirement plan solutions.
• Maintain and deepen referral-based relationships.
• Manage and coach a team of retirement plan professionals.
• Foster a collaborative, service-oriented, and accountable culture.
• Oversee vendor and recordkeeper relationships.
• Ensure governance, compliance, and operational execution.
• Participate in client and prospect conversations to deepen relationships.
