Job summary

Citrin Cooperman is seeking a Commercial Tax Services Director in its Tax Department in Bethesda, MD. You will lead complex tax engagements for partnerships, C-corporations, and S-corporations, while guiding staff and ensuring high-quality client service.

You will oversee tax returns, workpapers, and projections, drive business development, maintain client relationships, and coach junior staff to strengthen the practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s in Taxation preferred.
• CPA certification preferred; 10+ years of public accounting experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; client service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Review tax returns, workpapers and projections for clients.
• Provide planning, consulting and compliance for partnerships, C- and S-corporations.
• Conduct tax research to resolve issues and support staff development.
• Oversee day-to-day client needs and tax return processes.
• Engage in business development and expand client base.
• Coach, mentor and train staff; coordinate with partners for planning.
