Job summary

Citrin Cooperman seeks a Commercial Tax Services (CTS) Director in the Tax Department in Chicago, IL. You will review returns, workpapers and projections, with strong skills in partnerships, C-, and S-corporations, while mentoring staff and supporting client strategy.

You will oversee day-to-day client engagements, expand the client base, and collaborate with partners to ensure timely, accurate planning and execution. CPA or Master’s in Taxation preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s in taxation preferred; CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive public accounting experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of managing multiple client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Review tax returns, workpapers and tax projections.
• Provide consulting, planning and compliance for clients (partnerships, C‑, S‑ corporations).
• Perform tax research to resolve issues and coach staff.
• Maintain client relationships and expand business development.
