Job summary

Citrin Cooperman seeks a Supervisor in Commercial Tax Services to prepare and review tax returns and projections for diverse clients. You will handle tax research, client communications, and day-to-day relationships while mentoring junior staff.

The role emphasizes advancing firm business development, leveraging strong analytical and organizational skills, and collaborating across teams. A CPA is preferred and at least five years in public accounting is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s in taxation preferred.
• 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in a mid-size public accounting firm.
• CPA preferred; strong knowledge of federal & state tax laws – corporate, individual, and partnership taxation.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and reviews tax returns, extensions, and projections for various clients (C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnership, Individual).
• Knowledge of Federal and State tax law; perform tax research to resolve issues.
• Maintain frequent contact with clients and manage day-to-day client relationship issues.
• Trains, develops and mentors junior staff and participates in business development opportunities.
