Job summary

Ziply Fiber is seeking a Director of Collections in Kirkland, WA to lead enterprise-wide collection strategies, optimize performance, and minimize financial risk. You will oversee analysis of accounts, payment trends, and dispute patterns while driving cross-functional initiatives with Finance, Legal, Sales, and Operations.

The role requires a decade of collections experience, strong leadership, and deep regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, operations, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise/wholesale collections or related roles.
• 5+ years of experience leading employees, coaching, and achieving goals.
• Advanced knowledge of state and federal collection laws and regulations.
• Experience managing third‑party collection agencies or external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute collection strategies aligned with corporate financial objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive performance and improve processes.
• Negotiate complex payment arrangements or settlements for major delinquent accounts.
• Ensure compliance with collection laws, internal controls, and auditing standards.
• Collaborate with Sales, Revenue Ops, Legal, and Regulatory to align practices with goals.
