Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Director of Coding to lead and optimize our coding operations while driving data strategy across the organization. The role requires deep expertise in professional and facility coding, plus advanced capabilities in Power BI dashboards and Copilot/Power Platform tools to deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare coding and revenue cycle management.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing coding teams.
• Strong expertise in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience building Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Copilot, Power Apps, Power Automate, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight of coding operations, ensuring accuracy, productivity, and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor and improve coding KPIs, including quality, turnaround time, and audit performance.
• Lead coding managers and teams, supporting performance management, development, and engagement.
• Partner with Compliance, Revenue Integrity, and Clinical teams to ensure adherence to coding standards and regulatory requirements.
• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards to provide real-time visibility into coding performance, productivity, and trends.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights for operational and executive leadership.
• Develop scalable reporting frameworks to support continuous improvement and client performance.
• Analyze trends in denials, audits, and coding performance to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
