Job summary

Markent Personnel seeks a Director of Coastal Engineering and Waterfronts to oversee the practice as the strategic, technical, and operational head. Lead long-term vision, market development, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver resilient waterfront solutions.

The role requires 15+ years in coastal engineering with leadership experience and a PE license, and involves active client development, proposals, and high-level design oversight across regions.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Coastal, Civil, Structural, or Marine Engineering.
• 15+ years in waterfront, coastal, or marine engineering with increasing leadership responsibilities.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; additional credentials (e.g., D.PE, PMP, CFM) are desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the strategic plan for the Waterfronts Practice.
• Lead budgeting, staffing plans, revenue forecasting, and financial oversight.
• Provide senior technical oversight for waterfront, marina, and coastal projects.
• Lead business development initiatives and client relationship building.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary team.
