Job summary

Qualifications

• Masters degree with 4+ years in career coaching, career services, or student affairs.
• Experience with internship programs, job search strategies, and employer expectations in scientific/technical fields.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with employers, alumni, faculty, and staff.
• Strong leadership, team management, and collaboration skills, with a focus on coaching and developing staff.
• Knowledge of current trends in career development, labor markets, and emerging career paths in specialized domains.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for career coaching services with quality and alignment to program goals.
• Lead development and implementation of coaching strategies across CNS domains and career courses.
• Direct coaching for CNS students focusing on exploration, professional development, and internships.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to align resources with course objectives and opportunities.
• Track and report metrics on internship placement, career readiness, and outcomes.
