Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking experienced customer-facing leaders to coach and grow technically skilled Solutions Architects. You will enable them on best practices, solution selling, and presenting architectures of varying size and complexity, driving revenue growth across a broad set of customers.

You will shape the skills of your team, ramp them on AWS, and collaborate with services, marketing, and professional services. This is a leader-of-leaders role with executive visibility.

Qualifications

• Seasoned leader with 15+ years in design/implementation/consulting of distributed applications.
• Strong people management experience, including coaching and growing technical teams.
• Excellent communication and executive interaction skills across large organizations.

Responsibilities

• Build and migrate applications, software and services onto the AWS platform with teams.
• Hire, on-board, train, and develop Solutions Architects from internal and external sources.
• Educate enterprise customers on AWS value and participate in architectural discussions for cloud deployments.
• Coach architects in one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer skills to customers.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS Solutions Architect community.
• Guide creation of whitepapers, data sheets, and high-value customer guidance.
• Develop deep relationships with decision makers to enable customers to become Cloud advocates.
• Serve as conduit between customers, service engineering, and support.
