Responsibilities

• L3/L4 Network Topologies and Overlays — Defines multi-quarter architecture roadmap for DC fabrics, routing policy, IPv6 strategy, failure domains, and traffic engineering across regions.
• L3/L4 Network Topologies and Overlays — Leads cross-team design reviews and modernization programs (e.g., EVPN/VXLAN/SDN upgrades); enforces MOP/rollback and verification standards.
• Cloud Networking Implementation and Operations — Standardizes VPC/VCN topologies, transit/peering, PrivateLink/service endpoints, NAT, and inter-/multi-cloud connectivity.
• Cloud Networking Implementation and Operations — Optimizes L4/L7 load balancing and service-insertion at scale; enforces cost/SLO guardrails and capacity alignment.
• Network Security Controls and Compliance Guardrails — Embeds zero-trust-aligned segmentation and policy frameworks; drives rulebase lifecycle and tech-debt reduction.
• Automation, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code — Institutionalizes IaC modules/collections and GitOps; mandates code reviews, policy-as-code, testing, and safe deployment patterns.
• Monitoring, Telemetry, and SLOs — Sets SLI/SLO policy for the group; ensures telemetry pipelines support reliability, capacity, and security analytics.
• Cross-Team Collaboration and Operations Excellence — Leads cross-group incident response and complex changes; coordinates executive updates on high-importance matters.
• Documentation, Reviews, and Standards — Publishes group-level standards and runbooks; ensures traceability to requirements and controls.
