Job summary

Lumen Technologies seeks a seasoned Director of Cloud Interconnect Solutions to own and advance our cloud interconnect portfolio. You will translate complex connectivity needs into scalable product capabilities, guiding a growing team from concept through market adoption.

In this remote role for the U.S., you will partner with cloud providers, Alkira, and engineering teams to drive a cohesive, scalable roadmap and lifecycle across enterprise customers and hyperscalers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management, network engineering, cloud infrastructure, or related field.
• 3+ years in cloud connectivity, interconnect, multicloud networking, or hyperscaler solutions.
• Deep knowledge of cloud on-ramps, private interconnect, and cloud networking architectures.
• Proven ability to define and deliver technically complex products with engineering teams.
• Experience managing cloud provider relationships and negotiations.
• Proven ability to lead strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management.
• Experience developing professionals in product, technical, or analytical roles.
• Strong executive, partner, and customer communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a growing product management and analytics team for cloud interconnect.
• Own strategy, roadmap, performance, and lifecycle of cloud interconnect solutions.
• Maintain health of cloud connections including coverage, capacity, reliability, and CX.
• Drive incremental development across provider ecosystems.
• Define future capabilities with development, network architects, and partners.
• Lead integration of cloud interconnect products with Alkira platform and future generations.
• Manage cloud provider relationships and lead negotiations as needed.
• Engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to translate needs into requirements.
