Job summary

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Director of Clinical Systems Engineering to lead the design, integration, and optimization of our clinical IT stack. You will oversee requirements, data workflows, interfaces, and reporting across EHR, pharmacy, and revenue cycle systems.

Responsibilities include guiding migrations, enforcing data standards, and coordinating with clinical, operations, and IT leadership to ensure compliant, high‑quality technology solutions in outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Experience leading clinical systems engineering projects.
• Strong SQL proficiency and data analysis skills.
• Experience with HL7 v2 and FHIR messaging.
• Background in EHR implementation/migration projects.
• Ability to translate clinical needs into technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation with clinical, pharmacy, front office, revenue cycle, quality, and compliance stakeholders; facilitate workshops and design sessions.
• Translate operational and clinical needs into functional and technical specifications that can be built, tested, and audited.
• Produce and maintain requirements artifacts including workflow maps, user stories with acceptance criteria, configuration workbooks, and traceability matrices.
• Drive requirements review and sign-off prior to build; manage scope, changes, and impact analysis.
• Evaluate whether configuration, integration, third‑party solutions, or process changes best meet needs with cost and risk trade-offs.
