Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a Director of Clinical Research to lead iREACH, guiding a portfolio across clinical, community, and academic sectors. The role oversees biostatisticians, data analysts, and researchers, ensuring rigorous design, ethical standards, and regulatory compliance.

The position advances collaborations within DE-CTR and DE-INBRE, aligns NIH data management policies, and mentors investigators through the research lifecycle. Excellent leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• PhD in Epidemiology, Public Health, or related healthcare discipline required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee portfolio of research projects ensuring scientific rigor, clinical relevance, and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Provide high level oversight of study designs, protocols, and statistical analyses across iREACH projects.
• Ensure compliance with IRB, HIPAA, and FDA regulations; oversee DSMPs and DUAs for multi-institution submissions.
• Serve as liaison with CSIM and ensure data processes meet EPIC implementation requirements.
• Lead NIH DSM policy adherence and coordinate DE-CTR/DE-INBRE collaborations to standardize best practices.
• Supervise a multidisciplinary team of data analysts, biostatisticians, and research scientists.
• Mentor clinical and junior investigators on grant development, study design, and dissemination of findings.
