Job summary

Pennington Biomedical Research Center is seeking a Director of Clinical Operations to coordinate all operational and logistical processes for the inpatient and outpatient clinic within the Clinical Trials Unit. The role oversees research program coordination, initiates clinical programs, and serves as the primary contact for community-based research initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business administration or health related field.
• 10+ years of experience in medical management/administration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the overall operation of the clinic.
• Collaborate with PI, study staff, data managers, nursing and administrative teams.
• Develop and implement new employee training and orientation programs.
• Provide status reports on the operation of the Clinical Trials Unit; ensure effective communication regarding study status and quality improvement.
• Represent the Clinical Trials Unit on committees and institutional meetings.
