Job Description - Director, Clinical Management Office (25002082)

The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing is seeking a qualified Director of the Clinical Management Office. This role has strategic oversight of placement site development, regulatory compliance, and licensure processes, requiring strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders. The Director leads complex projects, makes strategic decisions, and serves as the face of the program to ensure high-quality clinical experiences that meet educational and accreditation standards. The Director will be responsible for supervising two staff members.

Job Summary

Develops and implements the vision and strategic plan of the program, manages administrative functions, and fosters effective relationships with stakeholders. Develops budgets, marketing, outreach strategies, and identifies potential funding sources.

Essential Functions
  1. Develop and execute the strategic plan for clinical placements, including timelines and success measures.
  2. Supervise and manage Clinical Placement Specialists, including hiring and performance reviews.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including community partners.
  4. Maintain a network of clinical placement sites, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
  5. Oversee student placement processes to meet curriculum and program needs.
  6. Ensure timely student placements and address site-related challenges.
  7. Develop marketing, education, and outreach strategies to expand the program's reach.
  8. Lead complex projects involving multidisciplinary teams and program expansion.
Additional Information

Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary.
