Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services seeks an inaugural Director, Clinical Labor Productivity & Workforce Optimization to build and lead a system-wide function aligning workforce resources with patient care needs while upholding quality, safety and financial stewardship.

This role partners with Nursing, Operations, HR and Finance to establish governance, benchmarks, and staffing practices across hospitals and ambulatory sites throughout New Mexico.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
• Significant experience in clinical labor productivity, nursing operations, workforce analytics, finance, or decision support.
• Proven success leading labor productivity initiatives across multiple facilities or system-wide environments.
• Knowledge of staffing methodologies and benchmarking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a system-wide clinical labor productivity strategy aligned with goals.
• Establish centralized workforce optimization across facilities and service lines.
• Lead workforce forecasting and staffing planning based on patient volumes.
• Provide analytical guidance on position control and staffing allocation.
• Drive adoption of analytics tools and governance processes.
