Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD/MD/DO in a relevant field required.
• ABMGG board certification or eligibility required.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Expertise in exome/genome analysis and CNV interpretation from NGS.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving and operational leadership.
• Proficiency with LIMS and genomic data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and oversight in the clinical genomics lab.
• Consult with clinicians on test selection and turnaround times.
• Lead assay development, validation, and QA/QI programs.
• Collaborate with UPMC and University partners on service development.
