Job summary

EPM Scientific is seeking a Director of Clinical Development/Science to lead clinical strategy for CVRM programs. This remote role requires base in PST US, reporting to the CMO and EVP Translational Research, and collaboration across R&D, regulatory and external partners.

You will design protocols, oversee study execution, medical monitoring, site engagement, and ensure data integrity and patient safety in early-stage trials.

Qualifications

• MD or PhD with 5+ years in clinical development.
• Experience in cardio, metabolic or related disease areas.
• Ability to lead clinical science strategy in early-stage trials.
• Gene therapy experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork across functions.
• Cross-cultural collaboration across geographies (US, China, Australia).

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical science lead for clinical stage CVRM programs.
• Support day-to-day study execution with protocol, timelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in medical monitoring: review data with cross-functional colleagues to ensure data quality and safety; escalate issues as appropriate.
• Participate in site selection, initiation and ongoing engagement; provide scientific support to investigators.
• Design and develop clinical trial protocols and associated documents in collaboration with CMO.
• Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure alignment.
