Job summary

PTC Therapeutics, Inc. seeks a Director of Clinical Development to oversee all clinical/medical aspects across phases of drug development. You will design and execute Clinical Development Plans, lead protocol development, and ensure regulatory and SOP compliance.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, with travel up to 25%. Board certification and MD are highly valued for this leadership position.

Qualifications

• MD degree and at least 2 years of clinical drug development experience.
• Experience leading global clinical programs and regulatory submissions.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and work across functions.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to and approves study protocols, IBs, CSRs, ICFs, CRFs and related docs.
• Plans investigator sites, meetings and presents agenda content.
• Prepares study update reports with enrollment and adverse event data.
• Interprets and documents clinical data for CSRs and regulatory manuscripts.
• Monitors clinical study timelines and vendor relationships.
• Represents the study team in cross-functional meetings and ensures SOP adherence.
• Contributes to opportunities in target selection or due diligence.
