Director, Client Partner – Insurance (Group Life & Health) industry

We are seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Director, Client Partner to lead and grow our engagements within the Insurance (Group Life & Health) industry. In this senior role, you will partner with clients to drive long-term success and measurable value through our cloud-native platform, V3locity.

You will develop executive-level relationships, understand client business imperatives, and guide platform adoption and growth. The ideal candidate brings domain credibility, commercial acumen, and the ability to operate as a trusted advisor at all levels of a customer organization.

What you will do:

  • Develop deep, multi-level relationships within client organizations - from end users to senior executives - ensuring alignment, advocacy, and long-term partnership.
  • Define client success objectives and ensure realization of ROI through adoption strategies, enablement, and proactive engagement.
  • Gain a deep understanding of each client’s strategic imperatives, risk appetite, operating structure, and organizational culture, using that insight to shape success plans and product alignment.
  • Advise clients on best practices and solution strategies for maximizing the value of V3locity, including workflow optimization, data insights, and industry alignment.
  • Identify and nurture up-sell and cross-sell opportunities, collaborating with Sales and Account Management to grow existing client relationships.
  • Orchestrate executive-level communication and governance, including steering committees, executive business reviews (QBRs), and C-suite engagement to maintain momentum and executive alignment.
  • Monitor customer health and proactively mitigate risk, ensuring a smooth post-implementation experience and sustained platform value.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer internally, influencing product roadmap, delivery approaches, and support strategies based on field experience and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and Marketing to ensure a seamless and value-driven client experience.
What Success Looks Like
  • Clients view you as a trusted advisor who understands their strategic goals and regulatory environment.
  • You drive measurable customer outcomes, including improved platform adoption, time-to-value, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Expansion opportunities are consistently identified and converted in collaboration with Sales, contributing to net revenue retention targets.
  • Executive stakeholders are engaged through regular governance forums (e.g., QBRs, steering committees), reinforcing Vitech’s value as a strategic partner.
  • Customer health is actively monitored and improved, resulting in high satisfaction, strong advocacy, and reduced churn risk.
  • Internal teams view you as the voice of the customer, shaping product direction and delivery improvements based on real-world insights.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience at an Insurance (Group Life & Health) organization with strong industry relationships and strategic insight; alternatively, experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Consulting within the Insurance (Group Life & Health) industry, ideally in an enterprise SaaS environment
  • Strong knowledge of the Insurance (Group Life & Health) ecosystem, including stakeholder dynamics, regulatory requirements, and operational challenges.
  • Demonstrated success in managing executive relationships and guiding customers through complex business and technology change.
  • Embody executive gravitas and sharp business acumen, paired with the ability to communicate with clarity and purpose—using storytelling to articulate a compelling vision and unify stakeholders around strategic goals.
  • Ability to influence without authority and manage cross-functional collaboration in a matrixed organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
  • Bonus Points: Ability to speak, read, and/or write in French
