Air Force Civilian Service is seeking a full-time Director, Civil Engineer Squadron (NH-1601-04) to lead the squadron at Hill AFB, Layton, UT. In this position you will exercise 2nd level (or higher) supervisory and managerial authorities. The 75 Civil Engineer Squadron Director assumes delegated authority and responsibility for the planning and direction of subordinate flights and personnel assigned to squadron. Directs work activities through subordinate supervisors/leads with responsibility for providing advice, accountability, and expertise to senior leadership on a continuous basis. This position will effectively and efficiently direct the operation, maintenance, and repair of Air Force facilities and Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) of significant value and criticality to the DOW. This position covers the areas of Hill AFB; UTTR; Little Mountain Test Annex; Carter Creek recreation area; Trout Creek Radar Site; Bovine Radar Site; Wendover, Nevada; and Pinedale, Wyoming. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring all real property systems with the squadron's scope of responsibility are maintained to an acceptable standard, functional and safe.

• This is a mission-Essential position performing a Mission-Critical-Function which must continue uninterrupted after the occurrence of an emergency and continued through full resumption of all functions.

Recruitment Knowledge Skills And Abilities

• 1. Knowledge of a wide range of multidisciplinary professional engineering theories, concepts, principles, standards, methods, techniques, materials, and equipment, as well as knowledge of standard construction and contracting regulations, practices, and procedures.
• 2. Knowledge of the principles of planning and program management; common business and economic principles, theories, concepts, and procedures; financial management principles and standards; and of the DOW Planning, Programming, and Budgeting System (PPBS).
• 3. Knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures.
• 4. Skill in evaluating state-of-the-art scientific and engineering technologies and incorporating into the planning, design, operation, maintenance, repair and upgrade of installation natural/built infrastructure.
• 5. Ability to analyze, plan, organize, and direct the work operations to meet program requirements and objectives with available resources; and to mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of an organization.
