Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking an experienced leader to guide the national Chronic Condition Management strategy within Medicaid. You will shape the product portfolio, translate diverse data into opportunities, and align investments with enterprise and Medicaid goals.

Lead a cross-functional team and influence strategic decisions at the senior level. The role requires senior healthcare strategy experience, strong leadership, and the ability to scale solutions nationally while accommodating state

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; seven+ years healthcare strategy experience.
• Five+ years developing and scaling healthcare products, programs, or population health solutions.
• Three+ years of formal people-leadership experience.
• Master's degree in public health or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the national Chronic Condition Management product strategy, portfolio, and multi-year roadmap.
• Translate population insights, member needs, clinical evidence, quality gaps, utilization patterns, and market priorities into actionable product opportunities.
• Establish the portfolio vision, strategic priorities, and investment strategy in alignment with Medicaid and enterprise objectives.
• Develop business cases that define the opportunity, solution, expected outcomes, value proposition, implementation requirements, risks, and resource needs.
• Prioritize investments based on member impact, clinical opportunity, affordability, quality improvement, scalability, organizational readiness, and business value.
• Ensure solutions are designed for national scale while allowing adaptation to state requirements and market needs.
• Establish portfolio performance metrics, monitor outcomes, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement.
• Support Medicaid RFPs and other growth initiatives by contributing to solution design and presentations.
• Build and lead a high-performing team with expertise in healthcare strategy, population health, product management, and portfolio development.
• Travel up to 15%, with a work schedule aligned to Eastern Time and occasional nights/weekends as needed.
