Job summary

First Baptist Church Ashland is seeking a Director for the Child Care Development Center to provide leadership for Curriculum, operations, and ministry alignment with FBCA's mission. You will oversee education quality, budgeting, licensing, staff development, enrollment growth, and family/community partnerships.

The role requires strong leadership, financial stewardship, and the ability to cultivate a Christ-centered culture within a church-affiliated preschool.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience leading early childhood education programs and staff.
• Strong budgeting, financial management, and internal controls experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision and leadership for a high-quality early childhood program.
• Oversee curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Observe classrooms and coach teachers to improve quality.
• Develop annual professional development plan for staff.
• Direct day-to-day operations and manage the annual budget.
