Qualifications

• Fluent in Chinese and English is required.
• Experience managing or leading within the Chinese community is required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and community organizations.
• Knowledge of culturally responsive care practices and community outreach is preferred.
• Passion for improving healthcare access and outcomes for diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage programs for Chinese-speaking patients, families, and caregivers within the hospital and community.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, social workers, and other professionals to coordinate culturally sensitive care.
• Lead outreach and marketing with local Chinese organizations and community partners.
• Assist referrals of Chinese-speaking patients to hospital departments and community resources with language access in mind.
• Build strong relationships with community leaders to raise awareness of services.
• Develop strategies to improve access to care, patient engagement, and outreach for Chinese-speaking populations.
• Serve as a cultural resource and advocate to reduce language and cultural barriers in care.
