Job summary

COA Youth & Family Centers in Milwaukee seeks a Director of Child & Youth Programs to provide leadership and oversight for early childhood education and youth development programs serving birth through age 12 at COA Riverwest.

Reporting to the Chief Programs Officer, the director ensures high quality, compliant service delivery, oversees program managers, manages budgets, and advances family engagement and community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Associates or higher in Early Childhood Education is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
• Minimum 4 years supervisory experience in early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for early childhood education and youth development programs serving birth through age 12.
• Monitor outcomes, enrollment, attendance, participation, and overall effectiveness.
• Supervise program directors, coach staff, and plan professional development.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, safety, and COA policies.
• Oversee budgets, resources, and reporting; promote family engagement and community relationships.
