Zusammenfassung

COA Youth & Family Centers is seeking a Director of Child & Youth Programs to oversee early childhood education and youth development programs from birth through age 12 at the COA Riverwest Center in Milwaukee.

Reporting to the Chief Programs Officer, you will supervise program managers, drive high‑quality services, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster family engagement while supporting staff development and organizational growth.

Qualifikationen

• Associates or higher in Early Childhood Education is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience and five years delivering early childhood education.
• Minimum Registry Level 14.
• Must be at least 25 years old with WI driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and adequate insurance.

Aufgaben

• Provide leadership and oversight for early childhood education and youth development programs serving birth to age 12.
• Ensure programs align with COA’s mission and policies; implement high‑quality, developmentally appropriate programs.
• Supervise program directors; support staff development and succession planning.
• Oversee licensing, compliance, and regulatory activities; coordinate with licensing visits and audits.
• Monitor budgets, enrollments, and program resources for financial sustainability.
• Foster family engagement and relationships with parents, caregivers, and the community.
• Collaborate with COA leadership to set goals and drive continuous program improvement.
• Open to evenings/weekends as needed; model professionalism and a child‑centered culture.
