Job summary

Orca Bio is seeking a Director of Case Management to lead a national case management function supporting TREGZI, guiding a high-performing team across treatment centers. The role involves scaling post-launch customer service and ensuring efficient, empathetic patient coordination during a pivotal growth phase.

The role includes travel up to 25% to Bay Area offices or customer sites, with impact on staffing, workflows, and cross-functional handoffs to deliver safe, reliable cell therapy delivery.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in inpatient case management, order coordination, transplant operations, or healthcare call center leadership.
• 6+ years in a team lead capacity with scheduling, coaching, mentoring,
• Industry experience in cell or gene therapy, oncology, or complex therapeutics.
• Knowledge of treatment center workflows, transplant coordination, apheresis, and chain-of-identity logistics.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a service-first mindset and calm, solution-oriented escalation management.
• Ability to work under pressure in a launch-phase environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the case management team, including patient journey monitoring, SLA adherence, and escalation resolution.
• Create staffing and scheduling model for order management/case management function.
• Lead daily huddles and ensure timely internal communication and SOP compliance.
• Foster a high-performance, service-oriented culture and develop team members.
• Serve as the case management liaison with field team leaders and cross-functional partners for timely information flow.
• Collaborate to refine and scale the TREGZI customer service model and workflows.
• Track KPIs and report trends to identify optimization opportunities.
