The Director, Care Professional Engagement provides leadership to expand the Alzheimer’s Association’s impact in long-term and community-based settings, supporting product development, sales growth, and provider engagement. As the Association's subject matter expert on long-term care, the Director may represent the Association in media, conferences, and industry discussions advocating for evidence-based dementia care. They oversee and deliver the care conference strategy, product sales, and growth in community partnerships at the national level.
Responsibilities
- Build & Implement a High-Impact Conference Strategy to Drive Awareness, Growth & Engagement in Long-Term Care
- Design and execute a conference strategy that maximizes brand visibility, provider engagement, and product promotion within the long-term care sector.
- Identify key national and regional conferences for presence through speaking engagements, exhibitor opportunities, and sponsorships.
- Develop a system to track conference ROI, ensuring attendance and sponsorship decisions align with growth and revenue objectives.
- Set standards for conference operations to reflect intentionality in materials and staffing relevant to the audience.
- Manage and oversee conference logistics, inventory, and implementation.
Expand, and Monetize the Dementia Care Provider Roundtable (led by HS)
- Provide subject matter expertise to the Roundtable agendas and topics, ensuring it remains a premier forum for advancing dementia care.
- Support development and implementation of a growth strategy, including membership expansion, premium offerings, sponsorship opportunities, and fee-based services.
- Build, nurture, and grow relationships with LTC partners within the Roundtable across ventures and opportunities, bringing in new partners.
- Drive data-informed discussions and leverage the roundtable as a platform for influencing care standards and policy.
- Work with the lead of the Association Roundtables to ensure logistics and operations meet standards.
Serve as Project ECHO Subject Matter Expert for Long-Term Care
- Act as the primary expert and advocate for Project ECHO in long-term care, aligning it with broader quality care initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Project ECHO team to expand adoption, measure impact, and identify opportunities for innovation and scaling.
- Partner with sales, marketing, and product teams to enhance value proposition and drive provider engagement and revenue.
- Represent the Association as a leading voice in dementia care through media, thought leadership, and participation in national forums.
- Deliver presentations and educational sessions for industry leaders, policymakers, and provider networks.
- Contribute content for publications and training materials to enhance credibility and position as a resource for dementia care best practices.
Drive Provider Engagement and Expansion in Long-Term Care
- Develop and execute a targeted engagement strategy under guidance of the Senior Director.
- Leverage market research and provider insights to tailor solutions that improve participation and product utilization.
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to accelerate reach and influence.
- Use relationships with LTC providers to increase engagement in initiatives like CMP.
- Utilize the Association’s training and certification programs for growth, working with LTC staff on sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with the VP of Health Systems Sales to integrate sales, marketing, product development, and engagement strategies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in leadership roles within long-term care organizations.
- 3+ years in management, person-centered care, quality improvement, nationwide campaigns, regulatory and finance reform, sales, and marketing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Extensive knowledge of dementia care in various settings.
- Expertise in person-centered care, quality improvement, and regulatory systems.
- Strong relationship management, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 20%.
