Job summary

ASR Group is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Leader to oversee a portfolio of mid to large-scale capital projects at our Chalmette, Louisiana refinery. You will directly manage internal and external engineers, EPC partners, and ensure adherence to capital processes, budgets, and schedules while mentoring staff and driving execution excellence.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading a portfolio of capital projects with aggregate scale beyond +$50MM.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree and PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal and external project engineers and EPC partners.
• Develop budgets, scope, schedule, LEAN metrics, labor maps and value engineering options; present capital requests for Executive approval.
• Manage cost and schedule, formulate PO strategy to minimize cost risk; oversee vendor management to maintain schedule.
• Coordinate with stakeholders including Health & Safety, Quality, Operations to deliver performance metrics.
