HCLTech is looking for a highly talented and self-motivated Senior Solution Director Financial Services: Banking & Capital Markets to join us in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity.

Location: New York City NY/ Remote

Role/Responsibilities
  • Own and drive digital solutions across a wide range of technologies from seed to implementation.
  • Experience in growing a P&L (YoY) with an expectation of a ~$40-60M annual portfolio.
  • Deliver expert advice on business solutions using a breadth of technology platforms.
  • Interface directly with HCLTech account sales and delivery teams to manage presales activities, capability presentations, and SOW negotiations.
  • Leverage consultative sales skills to understand clients' digital value chains and showcase HCLTech’s differentiators to create business outcomes.
  • Influence customers and stakeholders throughout deal cycles.
  • Support and drive growth for the unit; assist new and existing customers across opportunities like RFPs, proactive bids, and transformation initiatives.
  • Conduct architectural and design reviews of proposed investments/solutions for strategic alignment and technical soundness.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to meet customer commitments and provide accurate forecasts.
Desired Qualifications
  • Proven track record in building and managing complex deals.
  • Deep experience in enterprise client interaction in the US and relationship building within organizations and with customers.
  • 7-10 years in IT/Professional Services industry and at least 5 years in financial services.
  • Strong business acumen; ability to conceptualize strategies, develop key accounts, and establish strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborative in working with solution SMEs, delivery teams, and other units to achieve outcomes.
  • Commercially savvy with deep P&L understanding, including targets, revenue, margins, and forecasts.
  • Comfortable operating independently in unstructured environments and across matrixed teams.
  • Experience coordinating with global organizations (onshore/offshore) across time zones to craft solutions aligned with client objectives.
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science; MBA is a plus.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
