Job summary

White Mountains Community College seeks a Director of Campus Safety to plan, develop, and direct all aspects of campus public safety for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The role protects College property and facilities and coordinates investigations of safety-related incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Three years in criminal justice or related field with two years supervisory experience.
• NH Driver’s License required; CPR/AED and basic first aid certification preferred, NIMS certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and direct all campus public safety operations.
• Lead Campus Safety Officers and staff with supervision, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Collaborate with campus departments to ensure safety and well-being of all stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with Clery Act and other safety regulations; coordinate investigations of incidents.
• Oversee emergency preparedness programs, drills, and training; maintain documentation.
• Manage safety devices, access control, video systems, and alarm infrastructures.
• Develop and review safety procedures, and advise administration on safety policies.
