Job summary

Headway in San Francisco is hiring a Director of Talent Intelligence and Early Careers Recruiting to build and lead a first-of-its-kind function focused on long-term talent pipelines. You will own two pillars—Campus Recruiting and Talent Intelligence—and deliver hires across the business while building the team, strategy, and infrastructure from the ground up.

You’ll shape Headway’s approach to talent for the next decade, investing in campuses, internal moves, and market intelligence to stay

Qualifications

• 10+ years of recruiting experience with campus, sourcing, or talent pipeline functions at a high-growth company.
• Experience hiring across technical (engineering, data, product) and business (sales, operations, G&A) functions.
• Strong analytical orientation — you use data to set strategy, measure outcomes, and justify investments.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Headway's campus recruiting strategy end-to-end: target school selection, events, offers, and conversion.
• Build and manage relationships with universities, career centers, and student groups across technical and business disciplines.
• Own full event strategy—from info sessions and job fairs to hackathons and diversity programs—and ROI assessment.
• Lead the summer internship program: hiring, projects, onboarding, and performance evaluation.
• Partner with HR and Recruiting Programs to build programmatic infrastructure for long-term campus hires.
