Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of related experience in design and construction, including at least five (5) years in supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee leadership and performance management of the design and construction team to ensure on-time, on-budget projects.
• Manage full project lifecycle from programming and design through construction administration and closeout.
• Review design deliverables at phase gates for completeness, code compliance, and alignment with university requirements.
• Manage architect/engineer contracts including selection, scope, and performance evaluation.
• Develop and implement best-practice processes to ensure value and adherence to standards.
• Partner with stakeholders to facilitate a coordinated project process.
• Ensure procurement and regulatory compliance while pursuing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Identify initiatives for sustainable design and infrastructure across campus.
