Job summary

Kennesaw State University is seeking a Construction Project Manager, Research to oversee renovation design and construction projects on the Kennesaw campus. You will manage budgets, schedules, and scopes, ensuring adherence to policies and campus standards while coordinating with stakeholders and external consultants.

The role requires five years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or related field.
• Five years of related experience.
• Current, valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee small to medium design and construction projects.
• Develop project charters, budget estimates, schedules, and scope summaries.
• Develop RFQ/RFP documents to select consultants and contractors.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Review design documents and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
• Inspect projects to ensure compliance with specifications and codes.
• Travel to work sites as needed.
