Position:

We are seeking an experienced supply chain professional for the role of Director, Business Transformation & Innovation, located in Malvern, PA, Horsham, PA, or Titusville, NJ. This role may be posted under different requisition numbers across multiple countries. Please focus on the specific country(s) that align with your preferred location(s).

Purpose:

This role leads the CSC strategic plan and its execution, manages projects supporting this plan, and evaluates, develops, and monitors long-range program and product requirements. It involves managing day-to-day operations, business process ownership, compliance, audit leadership, G&Os, metrics, budgets, and the CSC Council (executive IBP process). The role also acts as the innovation plan lead and is the key contact for outside collaborations on new innovations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide leadership and strategic direction for the development and implementation of innovative solutions and strategic goals for CSC, including screening, piloting, and developing solutions, and maintaining related business processes.
  2. Offer technical and innovative solutions to enhance the Clinical Supply chain, increasing efficiency, optimizing processes, reducing waste, and reducing costs.
  3. Advise CSC groups on design and manufacturing solutions for new and complex developments.
  4. Develop collaborations with vendors, technology suppliers, and engineering departments to stay updated with the latest developments.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align strategies and deliver results.
  6. Represent J&J CSC at industry associations and congresses as a key opinion leader.
  7. Coordinate and lead the implementation of new processes and training, ensuring quality oversight and audit readiness, and driving continuous improvement.
  8. Lead CSC strategic planning, G&O cycle, and related review processes to track progress.
  9. Manage the CSC budget cycle, LRFP, and reporting to stakeholders.
  10. Establish governance with stakeholders and lead CSC governance processes.
  11. Drive performance management and support data-driven decision-making through metrics.
  12. Oversee key projects and act as a CSC PMO organization.
  13. Partner with stakeholders on CSC strategy topics, fostering a culture of collaboration, flexibility, and competitiveness.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 10 years of experience in clinical or commercial drug product manufacturing or clinical trial materials supply.
  • Deep knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Project management skills.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively internally and externally.
  • Preferred: At least 3 years of experience in a development environment.
Compensation:

The anticipated base pay range is $160,000 - $276,000 USD, with additional benefits and performance-based bonuses. Compensation varies by location and is aligned with local market standards.
