Description: The Aeronautics Business Transformation (BX) organization is seeking a strong, results-oriented thought leader to assume a role in the Strategy & Business Agility (S&BA) organization. S&BA is chartered with the strategic definition of Aeronautics Transformation (IT & 1LMX). We serve as the primary liaison and strategic transformation partner to the Aeronautics Lines of Business, Market Segments, Programs to provide innovative transformation and technology solutions aligned to the business strategic priorities to deliver key results and competitive advantage.

The selected candidate will serve as a Market Segment Lead (MSL) Transformation Business Partner (TBP) supporting F-35 Customer Programs portfolio in support of the F-35 Line of Business. In this capacity, the selected leader will serve as an interface and strategic partner to enable a business aligned strategy and roadmap, whereby innovative, game changing capabilities will be brought to bear in support of the portfolio of programs. The selected leader will partner closely with the IT and 1LMX organizations to ensure business and transformation initiatives are aligned in support of one common goal: delivering enhanced capabilities to the business while increasing value delivery to our customers. This will be a fast-paced environment that will require the selected leader to apply strong business acumen, communication abilities and relationship building combined with strong analytical and planning skills to work with a wide range of groups and functions across the company.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Engage with the SLT and serve as the focal point in support of the F-35 Customer Programs Market Segment.
2. Build highly effective relationships with key stakeholders (cross-organizational boundaries) to identify value-creating opportunities; a trusted partner.
3. Drive continuous enhancement and evolution of a business-aligned, integrated information technology / 1LMX strategy for the Market Segment, including 1LMX priority program success measures, adoptions roadmaps, reporting, etc.
4. Responsible for yearly and multi-year investment planning in new capabilities and major systems planning to ensure alignment to resources and support Program execution.
5. Responsible for developing and maintaining the roadmaps for investment projects and for working with the program to prioritize requirements.
6. Facilitate the delivery of a multi-tiered communications, outreach, and user experience strategy to drive awareness and adoption of key IT and 1LMX capabilities across the business.
7. Create a growth mindset culture focused on continuous improvement, where process modernization / reinvention and agile business practices are at the center of every engagement.
8. Collaborating with the business partner /agility team to ensure alignment with business priorities.
9. Foster a culture of collaboration and transparency to drive horizontal integration across IT and 1LMX to ensure the business’s toughest challenges are understood and solutioned expeditiously.
10. Enhance partnership with the Market Segment Business Development team to drive early insertion into new business pursuits, providing increased opportunity for IT / 1LMX capabilities to act as competitive discriminators for future business captures.

Basic Qualifications:

1. US Citizenship and ability/wiliness to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.
2. Experience leading large scale cross-functional and/or cross-LOB initiatives.
3. Proven program or project management / programmatic experience, with a strong understanding of common program management techniques and metrics.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of, or exposure to 1LMX.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate complex topics confidently to senior executive leadership.
6. Demonstrated experience leading diverse teams with broad scope of work.
7. Proven ability to develop strong working relationships with individuals of all levels, from individual contributors to executive leadership.
8. Proven and effective presentation and communication skills up to executive level.
9. Demonstrated ability to align strategies and capabilities to other business areas or enterprise strategies and capabilities; Multiyear planning and business analysis of current and emerging transformation requirements.

Desired Skills:

1. Proven experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
2. Active Secret Clearance.
3. Knowledge of the Information Technology domain (tools, capabilities, technologies, etc.).
4. Prior experience in Program Management, Business Development, or supporting functions in any Aeronautics LoB.
5. Knowledge of the Aeronautics business, including LOB strategies and key programs / pursuits.
6. Prior experience supporting International programs with Industrial Participation scope.
7. Experience with driving 1LMX transformation in critical captures/proposals and/or programs of record.
8. Proven ability to virtually lead teams / people to achieve results.
9. Demonstrated ability to absorb new technologies and processes quickly.
10. Demonstrated experience working across organization boundaries.
11. Ability to work in high paced and sometimes unstructured environment.
12. Prior agile experience (e.g. RTE, Scrum Master, Product Owner, etc.) considered a plus.
13. Experience with change management & learning.
14. Experience with business transformation.
15. Experience with business process re-engineering.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $109,200 - $189,290. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
