Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a senior leader to develop and execute enterprise BPM strategy across Global Supply Chain and Technical Operations. You will establish a standardized process taxonomy and ownership, driving multi-year maturity roadmaps with governance and change control.

You will lead the Business Process Governance Council, conduct baseline maturity assessments, and publish improvement roadmaps.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Life Sciences, or related field required.
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • 8–10 years in a regulated healthcare industry; 5–10 years in operational excellence/strategy/business operations or similar leadership.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the enterprise Business Process Management (BPM) strategy across Global Supply Chain & Technical Operations (GSC&TO).
  • Establish standardized process taxonomy (Level 1 Value Streams, Level 2 Cross-Functional Processes, Level 3 Operational Processes, Level 4 Work Instructions/Local Procedures).
  • Define business process ownership, design GSC&TO multi-year maturity roadmaps, and embed governance, lifecycle management, and change control.
  • Establish the Business Process Governance Council.
  • Conduct baseline maturity assessments (Plan/Make/Source/Deliver) and publish multi-year improvement roadmaps.
  • Identify process dependencies, bottlenecks, redundancies; develop tools to understand trade-offs.
  • Define standardized KPIs (health, effectiveness, compliance, risk, maturity) and lead enterprise value stream assessments/workshops.
  • Lead organizational adoption via workshops, communities of practice, voice of the customer, and knowledge management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Life Sciences, or related field required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • 8–10 years in a regulated healthcare industry; at least 5–10 years in operational excellence/strategy/business operations or similar leadership.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing & supply chain processes, cGMP, regulatory requirements, and external manufacturing complexities.
Skills/Competencies
  • Project/change management and facilitation; strategic, data-driven, analytical; strong stakeholder influence in a matrixed global environment; travel up to 40%.
